Under the Godhan NYAY Yojana, the Chhattisgarh government has taken a momentous step by purchasing cow dung at a rate of Rs 2 per kilogram. This simple yet transformative decision has not only recognized the inherent value of cow dung but has also opened up new avenues for generating income.

He highlighted the remarkable impact of the Godhan NYAY Yojana, which has resulted in dual benefits for him. On one hand, he receives remuneration for taking the cows for grazing and on the other hand, he earns a decent income by selling cow dung. Shri Yadav stated that his earnings from selling cow dung have reached a total of Rs 18,000. He expressed his deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for this earning opportunity.

She explained that the government's initiative has provided her with a source of additional income. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel's emphasis on the importance of cow dung has played a pivotal role in facilitating its purchase through this scheme.

Smt. Yadav expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for spearheading this transformative initiative and acknowledged that it has amplified the significance of cows in their lives. She further shared that the income generated from selling cow dung has enabled her to procure essential items for her family, including those required for a family member's wedding. She also mentioned that she sells cow dung at a rate of Rs 2 per kilogram in the Gauthan. Afterwards, the women in the group undertake the task of converting it into vermicompost, which is subsequently sold.
