Kathmandu : The two-day International Mother Tongue Journalists Conference 2025 organized in has been concluded with issuing 7 points resolution. The conference has organized by the Newa National Journalists' Association collaboration with SAARC Journalist Forum and Federation of Nepal Indigenous Journalists (FONIJ).
Speaker Devraj Ghimire inaugurated the conference at 13 June and the conference was concluded by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Mayor Surendra Shrestha at 14 June. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mayor Shrestha said that the conference played an important role in promoting the mother tongue.

Md. Abdur Rahman is a senior Bangladeshi journalist and the Central Secretary General of the SAARC Journalist Forum (SJF), an international organization comprising journalists from South Asian countries. He has over 15 years of experience in journalism and is affiliated with several media outlets, including The News India, Times Asian, and Puber Akash. Additionally, he serves as the Bangladesh Bureau Chief for The News India. Md Abdur Rahman is an international media personality from Bangladesh and is the editor and publisher of Hello Dhaka News and editor of Trinamool Barta/ Trinamool TV.
He is the Secretary General of Bangladesh Online News Portal Owners Forum, the Secretary General of the International Association of Bengali Language Joumalists of India Bangladesh "Dui Bangla Online Joumalist Forum" and the international Association of Journalists of eight SAARC countries as well as the largest organization of joumalists in South Asia SAARC Joumalist Forum Secretary General.
In his role as Secretary General, Md. Abdur Rahman has been instrumental in organizing international conferences and meetings aimed at promoting press freedom, democracy, and regional cooperation among journalists in South Asia. He is working on freedom of media, development of media and mutualties of media, increasing relations between South Asian countries, cultural exchange, prosperity of economy.
Participated in various meetings and seminars held internationally.
Participated in SAARC Journalist International Conference held at Gautam Buddha University, and participated in Indo-Nepal-Bangladesh International Media Conclave held in Agra,
SAARC education award Darjeeling , SAARC education award Kolkata ,International literary conference Kolkata, International human Rights conference Bihar,International mother language journalism conference in Kathmandu,He participated in many international conferences.
He is working in South Asia to establish human rights, peace, education , literature and democracy.In recognition of work he has received many international awards at home-abroad He has made a special contribution to online journalism in the current online and has brought new journalists into joumalism with enthusiasm.
