In Bijapur, 13 notorious hardcore Naxalites left the path of violence and embraced development
Raipur : The comprehensive campaign against Naxalism in Bijapur district got a big success today. 13 notorious hardcore Naxalites active in the district, carrying a reward of Rs 23 lakh, surrendered before the security forces and resolved to return to the mainstream. Out of these surrendered Naxalites, rewards ranging from ₹ 1 lakh to ₹ 8 lakh were declared on ten of them.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai tweeted that this important surrender is a direct proof of the effectiveness of the state government's "Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy - 2025" and "Niyad Nella Nar Yojana", through which an atmosphere of trust and a positive wave of change is being created in the Naxal-affected areas.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that now even the Naxalites have started understanding that the path of development, not the path of guns, is the right option for the future. The government is fully committed to the rehabilitation, skill upgradation and revival of all these surrendered Naxalites, so that they can live a respectable life.
He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, our government is fully committed to ensure the goal of complete eradication of Naxalism from the entire country including Chhattisgarh by March 2026.
