Administrative preparations begin for President’s visit
Chief Secretary Mr Vikas Sheel holds meeting with senior officials
Raipur : President Smt. Droupadi Murmu will visit Jagdalpur on February 7 to participate in the divisional-level inaugural programme of Bastar Pandum. Administrative preparations for the President’s visit have begun. In view of President Smt. Murmu’s Bastar tour, Chief Secretary Mr Vikas Sheel on Tuesday convened a meeting of senior administrative officials at the Mantralaya to review arrangements for the divisional Bastar Pandum programme and other related preparations, and issued necessary directions.
The Chief Secretary instructed officials to ensure all essential arrangements, including security, medical facilities and transportation, during the President’s visit. Through video conferencing, he took stock of the on-ground arrangements from the Bastar Collector. He also issued necessary directions to the Raipur Collector.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, Public Relations and Culture Department, Dr Rohit Yadav; Secretary, General Administration Department, Mr Avinash Champawat; Secretary, Home Department, Ms Neha Champawat; Secretary, Health Department, Mr Amit Kataria; Secretary, Public Works Department, Dr Kamalpreet Singh, along with other senior administrative officials from various departments.
