Chhattisgarh,is not often referred as an agricultural centric state only, but it is also called as the government of the farmers which has taken numerous initiatives in the interest of the farmers under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel who was also once a farmer.  Chief Minister,Mr. Baghel is sensitive  towards the farmers to such an extent that when it comes to any work related to farming and farmers, all the work is done with top priority. A similar instance was seen in the Bhent Mulaqat program today. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, a farmer got the amount of his paddy within 24 hours which was pending for one and a half months.

During the Bhent Mulaqat program of January 22 in Maanth village of Tilda-Nevra development block of Raipur district,a  farmer namely Ramratan hailing from Nagar village complained to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel about pending payment of paddy in the society for almost one and a half months. The Chief Minister patiently listened to Ramratan. Farmer Ramratan further said that everything is fine and the schemes of the state government are benefiting the people, but even after selling paddy in the society on November 30, he has not received the money yet. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked Ramratan in detail on this matter. He further informed  that this year paddy was planted in 38 decimal field which was sold on November 30 in Nagargaon Society after harvesting, but about eleven and a half thousand rupees of paddy have not yet been recieved into his account.

Taking this seriously, the Chief Minister first expressed displeasure on the officials and immediately and instructed to deposit Ramratan's paddy money in his bank account. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure himself took information about the case from the manager of the Nagargaon Society and the officials of the District Central Cooperative Bank. The very next day, on January 23, Rs 11 thousand 424 was deposited in Ramratan's bank account as per the amount of paddy sold. On getting his paddy money, Ramratan expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and said that if Bhupesh is there, trust is also there.
