Bhoomi Pujan of 50 different development works worth more than 199 crores, inauguration of 16 works worth more than 24 crores
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai will gift 66 different development works worth more than 223 crores 88 lakhs 41 thousand to the people of the district during his visit to Korba district on June 12. Shri Sai will inaugurate, perform Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone of 66 development works being done under various departments. These development works include the inauguration of 16 works worth more than 24 crores 10 lakhs 70 thousand and Bhoomi Pujan/Foundation stone laying of 50 works worth more than 199 crores 77 lakhs 71 thousand. During this, Chief Minister Shri Sai will also inaugurate the statue of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar in the newly constructed convention center near Risdi Police Line.
The 16 inauguration works to be done by Chief Minister Shri Sai include 11 works costing 15 crore 06 lakh 77 thousand under Public Health Engineering Department, construction of new Primary Health Centre building at Bhaisma, Kudmura and Pasan at a cost of 75 lakh each under Health Department, new building/renovation work in Swami Atmanand Hindi Medium School NCDC Korba at a cost of 03 crore 58 lakh under Municipal Corporation Korba, and installation of 2.4 kW solar power plant in 47 hostels/ashrams of Korba district at a cost of 03 crore 20 lakh 70 thousand 920 rupees under CREDA Department.
Under the works of Bhoomi Pujan, the Urban Administration Department will do Bhoomi Pujan/foundation stone laying of 09 works costing 15 crore 38 lakh 85 thousand from DMF, 15th Finance and other items in Municipal Corporation Korba and Municipal Council Dipka. These include 100 TPD solid waste management project for Municipal Corporation Korba under 15th Finance at the cost of 06 crore 66 lakh 35 thousand, construction work of city bus depot/terminal complex in Darri zone number 06 under Pradhan Mantri e-bus service at the cost of 05 crore 78 lakh one thousand, construction work of SNCU hall, gallery shed, ramp and boundary wall in 100 bed hospital at the cost of 41 lakh 13 thousand, construction of training hall in ward number 32 at the cost of 61 lakh,
construction of training hall in ward number 31 at the cost of 50 lakh, construction work for water enrichment in Ayodhyapuri pond at the cost of 25 lakh, construction work of recharge well, desilting, oil and grease trapping for improvement of ground water source at the cost of 42 lakh 31 thousand, service connection for drinking water in houses under the body area under Nagar Palika Parishad Dipka at the cost of 68 lakh 20 thousand. The supply work and RCC drain construction work from Tower Road to Ganesh Sahu house in ward number 06 at a cost of 06 lakh 85 thousand are included.
Similarly, under the Rural Mechanical Services Department, 07 works will be inaugurated at a cost of 03 crore 72 lakh 08 thousand from the District Mineral Institute Trust fund. These include 04 training halls, 01 laboratory room, construction of 02 new buildings each for primary and secondary schools, new building construction for Government Sub Health Center Nondarha, compound construction at fertilizer storage center Katghora and culvert construction work in 2 km from Kalmitikhara to Barpali R.D.
Under the Water Resources Department, construction work of Tendubhatha Anicut at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 79 lakh 32 thousand, Domnala Stopdam near Housing Board Colony Uraga at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 89 lakh 13 thousand, I.B. located in Minimata Bango Dam area at the cost of Rs. 3 crore 02 lakh 25 thousand. renovation work, reconstruction and returning wall construction work of 274 meter length of Pondi Uparda to Lepra road at the cost of Rs. 1 crore 19 lakh 78 thousand,
installation work of 50 solar high mast plants at various sites at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 68 lakh 89 thousand 100, installation work of 1.2 kW capacity solar power plant in 50 sub health centers at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 14 thousand 350 and bhoomi pujan will be done for a total of 28 works including bridges, roads, building construction, approach road construction at the cost of 166 crore 07 lakh 27 thousand under the Public Works Department.
