Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Chhattisgarh’ program organised at Dussehra Ground in Mohla of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district on Thursday. He stated that to make India a developed nation, the development of Chhattisgarh is crucial. The state government is working tirelessly for the social and economic development of Chhattisgarh in consonance with Modi’s Guarantee. The state government will fulfil every promise made to the people of Chhattisgarh under Modi’s Guarantee. He further stated that the state government is making efforts to develop the newly formed five districts, including Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, and the government has no shortage of resources for the development of these districts.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced various development works, including the approval for the construction of a fully equipped community hall in Mohla worth Rs. 50 lakhs, an interstate bus stand in Manpur, beautification of ponds, opening a branch of the District Cooperative Central Bank in Gotatola, upgrading Mohla-Manpur College to PG College, and construction of roads from Chhuriya Mandir to Sheetla Mandir. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 115 development projects, worth Rs. 46.83 crore, and distributed departmental kits and cheques worth Rs. 18.1 lakh to 128 beneficiaries under various schemes. Chief Minister Shri Sai also virtually interacted with the sarpanch of Keakatola, Gaulitola, and Kunjamtola gram panchayats, which are among the 144 gram panchayats connected under the BharatNet scheme in the aspirational district.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, addressing the program, stated that the people of the country have shown trust in the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Chhattisgarh Government has completed its three-month tenure, and within 90 days, it has taken significant decisions for the welfare of the people of the state. After assuming office, the first cabinet decided to sanction the construction of 18 lakh houses for the eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He assured that the construction of houses will commence in the new financial year.
 

He stated that Modi ji promised to provide a two-year pending bonus for paddy procurement if the government is formed in Chhattisgarh. On Atal Ji's birth anniversary and Good Governance Day, the state government disbursed Rs. 3,716 crore into the bank accounts of 13 lakh farmers as the two-year pending bonus for paddy procurement. He further shared that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi made a promise to the farmers of Chhattisgarh to procure paddy at a rate of Rs. 3100 per quintal and up to 21 quintals per acre. Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the state government has paid an amount of Rs. 13,320 crore as the difference amount of the paddy procurement to 24.75 lakh farmers in the state. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the state government has disbursed an amount of Rs. 655 crore as the first installment to the more than 70 lakh eligible women. This scheme will provide Rs. 1000 every month to all eligible women without any hassle. He stated that the state government has launched the Ramlala Darshan Yojana to provide facilities to the devotees of the state to visit Ayodhya. Devotees from Raipur and Bilaspur have visited Ayodhya twice.

Chhattisgarh Government will provide charan paduka to forest dwellers

Chief Minister Shri Sai announced an increase in the collection rate for tendupatta from Rs. 4000 to Rs. 5500 per standard bag. He mentioned that the Charan Paduka Yojana will be restarted, wherein forest dwellers will be provided with charan paduka. Additionally, scholarships and insurance will be arranged for the children of tendupatta collectors. The government will provide gas cylinders to those in need under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He assured that the state government would fulfil all the promises made under Modi’s Guarantee.
Niyad Nellanar Yojana: 21 security camps established as facilitation centres for rural areas

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district is a sensitive district. The state government is establishing security camps from a security perspective in Maoist-affected areas, and in the last three months, 21 camps have been started, which also serve as facilitation centres. The implementation of government welfare schemes will be expedited in villages within a radius of five kilometres of these camps. Under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, basic facilities such as drinking water, roads, education, rations, and Aadhaar cards will be provided in these sensitive areas. Prime Minister Shri Modi has allocated more than Rs. 7,000 crore to the railway sector. He assured that he would provide all the necessary support to develop the five new districts. He mentioned that under the Prime Minister's leadership, India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world. In the next five years, India will achieve the status of the world's third-largest economy. Chhattisgarh is a state rich in forest produce and mineral wealth. There is a need for value addition to minor forest produce. Minerals such as coal, iron, gold, tin, and bauxite are abundantly available in Chhattisgarh.

MP Shri Santosh Pandey shared that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, 498 gram panchayats in the district have been selected to ensure the availability of drinking water, with work underway worth Rs. 800 crore. The construction of Ekalavya Model School is underway on 10 acres in the district. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state is rapidly progressing on the path of development. Various development works are being carried out in the district due to the presence of a double-engine government. Basic amenities such as housing, electricity, water, hospitals, and schools are being fulfilled according to the needs of the region. The state government is making every effort to uplift the district. The state government has installed a solar power plant near Dongargarh, which is providing electricity to the area.
