Chief Minister visited RIPA, appreciates women entrepreneurs

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended a one-day workshop of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) held in Bastar division at Shaheed Gundadhur Agricultural College and Research Center in Kumhrawand, Jagdalpur. This park has been established under RIPA to provide employment to the people of rural areas through various livelihood activities. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs. 2 crore has been approved per industrial park. Participants of the Bastar division from Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Kanker, Sukma, and Kondagaon districts also participated in the program. During his visit, the Chief Minister appreciated the efforts made by the women of self-help groups associated with RIPA to become self-reliant.
