Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended a one-day workshop of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) held in Bastar division at Shaheed Gundadhur Agricultural College and Research Center in Kumhrawand, Jagdalpur. This park has been established under RIPA to provide employment to the people of rural areas through various livelihood activities. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs. 2 crore has been approved per industrial park. Participants of the Bastar division from Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Kanker, Sukma, and Kondagaon districts also participated in the program. During his visit, the Chief Minister appreciated the efforts made by the women of self-help groups associated with RIPA to become self-reliant.

Minister-in-charge of Bastar district Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Baij, former MP Mr. Nand Kumar Sai, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Rekhchand Jain, MLA Kondagaon Mr. Mohan Markam, Mr. Rajman Benzam, Mr. Lakheshwar Baghel, Chandan Kashyap, Vice President of Indravati Development Authority, Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Advisor to Chief Minister Dr. Pradeep Sharma, Mayor Shafira Sahu, Commissioner of Bastar Mr. Shyam Dhawade, IG Bastar Range Mr. Sundar Raj P, State Head of RIPA, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Collector Mr. Vijay Dayaram K, CEO Zila Panchayat, Mr. Prakash Sarve, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
