The experience of District Panchayat is now useful in the Assembly: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma
Raipur, 14 May 2024/ Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma has resigned from the membership of District Panchayat Kabirdham. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma, after being elected from Kawardha Assembly in the last assembly elections, today submitted his resignation letter to the President, District Panchayat Kabirdham. In the notice sent under Format "A" (sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 6) it is said that I, hereby resign from the post of member of District Panchayat of District Panchayat Area No. 09, District Kabirdham, Chhattisgarh. Am. It may be known that Shri Vijay Sharma was elected from area number 09 of Kabirdham District Panchayat in the last Panchayat elections. After being elected from Kawardha Assembly in the last assembly elections, he is now the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and has the responsibility of Home and Jail, Technical Education and Employment, Science and Technology Department as well as the Ministry of Panchayat and Rural Development.
After resigning, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma, while talking to the media, said that as much experience as he has got by working here in these four years, of sitting in a House, raising the issue in the House and taking decisions through it, All that is coming in handy in the Assembly today. Whatever we have seen while roaming in the village and what should happen, all that is being used today in making the plans of the departments. Now when I am working as the Minister of Panchayat Raj, in the government of Vishnu Dev Ji, we had also seen that there was no place for women to sit in the villages, so there was a need to build Mahtari Sadan in every Panchayat. The decision has been taken. The government wants to provide all facilities to the public by linking CSC with the Panchayat in every Panchayat.
