Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, December 10. He stated that human rights are not merely about the protection of rights, but represent our collective sensitivity and commitment towards “humanity, equality, and the dignity of every individual.”
The Chief Minister stated that the Constitution of India grants fundamental rights to every citizen. He emphasised that it is the responsibility of all citizens to remain aware of their rights while also fulfilling their duties with sincerity.
He noted that the protection of rights becomes meaningful only when every individual in society remains “alert, responsible, and committed” to the fulfilment of their duties.
He stated that International Human Rights Day is an important global opportunity to raise awareness about equality, peace, justice, freedom, and human dignity. The day reminds us that societies become stronger only when every person is safe, respected, and empowered with equal opportunities.
Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to the people of the state to play an active role in the protection and promotion of human rights and to contribute to building a society that is “just, equitable, sensitive, and committed to equal opportunity for all.”
