Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his congratulations and best wishes to Chhattisgarh’s renowned literary figure, Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla, on being honoured with the prestigious ‘Jnanpith Award’ in the field of literature.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla represents the “rich tradition of Hindi literature,” a tradition that has carved out a distinctive place in the literary world through its simplicity, sensitivity, and remarkable creative strength. He stated that Shri Shukla’s writings have not only enriched the Hindi language but have also deeply influenced generations of readers.
The Chief Minister said this is a moment of “immense pride for the entire state” as Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla receives this highest literary honour. He added that the award reflects his “extraordinary contribution to the world of literature”.
Extending his wishes for Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla’s long, healthy and active life, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that his creative work will continue to remain a “source of inspiration” for future generations.
