Heaps praise on Chhattisgarh Government's proactive efforts in tribal welfar

Raipur, TNINS

Member of Parliament Mr. Rahul Gandhi extended his greetings on the occasion of 'World Tribal Day' and lauded the Chhattisgarh Government for its proactive efforts in promoting the welfare of tribal communities.

He said, "On the World Tribal Day, I would like to honour our Adivasi communities who are the true custodians of our land and ancient wisdom. Our Tribal communities have always been at the forefront of safeguarding our heritage for future generations. As a society, we have much to learn from our Adivasi brothers and sisters about the power of defending one's values till the very end.

I would like to congratulate the Chhattisgarh Government for celebrating the World Tribal Day. I am happy to know that Surguja is playing host to the celebration this year. Surguja holds a special pride of place in Chhattisgarh's history.

The state's distinct Adivasi culture, including the various dance and music traditions, inspires pride in our diverse culture. I would like to appreciate the efforts of the Chhattisgarh Government to showcase them to a larger audience.

I would also like to congratulate the Chhattisgarh Government on working proactively for Adivasis. From leading the way in the implementation of the

Forest Rights Act to strengthening access to quality public education,

Chhattisgarh's progressive policies are paving way for our Adivasi communities to lead a life of dignity.

Lastly, I would like to reassure our Adivasi brothers and sisters of our commitment to continue working to further our pro-people agenda.

I would like to thank you once again for your invaluable contribution to society."
