Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reviewed the progress of the Transport Department and the ‘Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwaar Abhiyan’. He applauded the efforts of the department in providing skilled drivers and enhancing civic amenities through various innovative methods adopted by the department. He acknowledged the significance of the Driving Training and Research Institute in fulfilling the state's demand for competent drivers. Transport Commissioner Mr.Dipanshu Kabra shared that the department has delivered 21,04,095 licences and registration certificates to the beneficiaries.

461 Parivahan Suvidha Kendras established across the state

The state government has established the 461 ‘Parivahan Suvidha Kendra’ for carrying out the efficient implementation of the 'Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwaar Abhiyan’, covering urban and rural areas. Transport Commissioner Mr.Dipanshu Kabra shared that the department has delivered 14,33,444 registration certificates and 6,70,651 driving licences to the beneficiaries. The scheme provides 22 services and is creating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth. Aadhaar authentication streamlines application processes, enabling automatic approvals without manual intervention. The Transport Department has implemented the online issuance of One-A certificates for driving licences, leveraging the expertise of doctors. Over one lakh medical forms have been issued online as part of the streamlined process. Eliminating the need for applicants to visit transport offices, registration booklets and driving licences are delivered to them through these centres. The Transport Department introduced Aadhaar authentication for convenient ownership transfers.
