Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana: People from rural regions are receiving regular medical checkups and medication facilities for seasonal diseases and B.P. problems with convenience

A hospital van reaches Ungyaon village under the Sonhat development block in the Koriya district. The hospital van is a mobile medical unit operating under the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Clinic Yojana, through which medical teams reach Haat Bazar and provide healthcare services to people conveniently. In this regard, Mr. Mahaveer from Ungyaon, aged 75 years, had reached the clinic while citing the problem of constant headache. When the medical team performed a health checkup, they found that the patient was suffering from high BP. 

The doctor present in the clinic provided him with the required medication and advised him to bring his prescription every week for regular checkups. Now he visits Haat Bazar Clinic regularly and reaps the benefits of free medical checkups and medicines. Similarly, Mr. Bir Singh of Ungyaon visited the Haat Bazaar Clinic for the treatment of cough, cold, fever, and body aches. A thorough checkup was conducted in the clinic and medicines were given, because of which he experienced relief. He is quite happy that he receives medical treatment in the Haat itself along with needful household items and he is satisfied with the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana. On average, 94 OPDs in two development blocks in the Koriya district are functional under the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana. In the last ten days, more than 1600 people have benefitted from B.P., blood sugar, hemoglobin, and Malaria test facilities.
