Sukma : Three Naxalites surrendered to security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.
The Maoists, including a woman, gave themselves up to the police and the Central Reserve Police Force, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma said.
Madkam Hidme was Vice President of Jantana Sarkar in Bijapur, Punem Kanna was a member of the Naxalite doctors panel and Karam Sukku was Vice President of Peddagalur Jantana Sarkar also in Bijapur, the officer said.
All three were involved in a gun battle with security forces in Budgicheru village in Bijapur district in 2015.
