Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Dewarbija village of the Bemetara assembly constituency on December 28 as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan' across the state. Addressing the people he said this is the first time that people are holding a mic in front of a CM. People are telling their problems and views. This has never happened before. Our government is directly interacting with the public.

During the Jan Chaupal, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the state government has made various schemes for every section of society. The state government is interacting with people in the state-wide Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan and taking feedback about the implementation of schemes from the beneficiaries. People especially the rural populace are interacting with Chief Minister and telling their problems openly and directly to him. People's problems are also being solved in this program.

He said that it is the endeavor of the state government that the benefits of the schemes should reach the maximum number of people. The benefits of government schemes have reached the beneficiaries even during the pandemic. Discussing the loan waiver scheme, he said that when the scheme was implemented, some farmers had sold their paddy but their money was returned through loan waiver. About Rs.1200 crore were returned. Chief Minister asked the people about loan waiver, people raised their hands and said 'yes' in one voice. He said that the installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana is proven to be a boon for the farmers in their time of need. The money is needed the most during farming and festivals. The amount of this scheme is provided in four installments.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced for the establishment District Cooperative Bank branch in village Saldha and a new sub-tehsil office in Gram Panchayat Devarbija. He announced for well-equipped Manglik Bhavan (Townhall) in Devarbija, construction of a 4 km road from village Hardi to Lata, upgradation of Parpoda High School to Higher Secondary School and Primary School Khamharia M to Pre Middle School, Paddy Purchase Center at Keshadbari , a sub-health centre at Gram Panchayat Ghotmarra and construction of embankment in Shivnath river at village Saldha.

Bhuneshwari bought a secondhand car by selling vermicompost

During the Jan Chaupal, Mrs. Bhuneshwari of Sankara told their group is producing vermicompost and so far they have produced and sold Vermicompost worth Rs 5 lakh 38 thousand. All the members of the group are earning a good income. Bhuneshwari told that she bought a secondhand car recently, and she and her husband shared the expenditure on the car 50-50. Chief Minister appreciated her saying that their partnership is bringing joy to the family. Ramkhilavan Sahu of Keshadbari village told that he has two and a half acres of land. The loan of Rs.2 lakh 36 thousand has been waived off. He told that it is now very convenient to bear the expenses of the family.

Fancy store and rice mill by selling cow dung

Bharti Verma told that she started a fancy store by selling cow dung. She also started a mini rice mill has also been opened through which she is earning a good income. The Chief Minister praised her and asked how do you manage so much work. Ramkhilavan Vaishnav of Chikhali village told that he is a beneficiary of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana. Till now three installments have been received, and this scheme is helping a lot. Balram Patel, the beneficiary of Chief Minister's Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana, told that he is getting regular benefits. The Chief Minister asked how much the money was needed, to which Balram said - "kabar laghi kaka"( why to pay, uncle).

During the Jan Chaupal, the Chief Minister told the villagers about the 'Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata' Yojana and said that for the treatment of serious diseases, financial aid up to Rs.20 lakh is provided under this scheme. Tripti Rajput, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School told that she is studying in Devarbija. Speaking in English, Tripti said that her school has a proper playground. She is studying well in school. A local person from the public told about the problem related to his eye, on which the Chief Minister, taking a quick decision, announced a financial aid of Rs.2 lakh.
