#Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’: Chief Minister met representatives of various social organizations in Saraipali

 Sanctioned Rs 1.16 crore for the construction of various community halls

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel met the delegation of various communities and social organizations in Saraipali development block of Mahasamund district late on Wednesday as a part of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. He took information from the representatives of all communities regarding their social activities and took direct feedback on the implementation of government schemes and programmes.

Members of Chhattisgarh Ramnami Ram Bhajan Sanstha Bilaigarh met the Chief Minister and accorded him a warm welcome. Chief Minister met representatives of Advocates Union Basna, ration vendors, Bhunjia Samaj, Gada Samaj, Dhobi Samaj, Dhurva Samaj, Kalar Samaj, Banjara Samaj, Kanwar Samaj, Oraon Samaj, Sanvra Samaj, Agrawal Samaj, Yadav Samaj, Sahu Samaj, Brahman Samaj, Kolta Samaj, Sikh Samaj, Muslim Samaj, Manikpuri Samaj, Chauhan Samaj Sarpanch Sangh, Akhil Bhartiya Yadav Mahasabha, and farmers of Baloda-Bazaar.

A delegation of Satnami Samaj Bade Sajapali invited the Chief Minister to participate in the programme to be organized on the occasion Ghasidas Jayanti. The members of the Saraipali Paddy Procurement Society met the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude towards him for appealing to farmers to donate paddy stubble. He suggested displaying banners of paddy stubble donations in the paddy procurement centers to make farmers aware of the same.

Besides, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel gave approval of about Rs 1 crore 16 lakh 20 thousand for miscellaneous construction works including the construction of community halls on the demand of various communities. This includes the construction of a dome in the hostel premises of Agharia Samaj at a cost of Rs 30 lakh, Rs 20 lakh for the construction of the community hall of Agrawal Samaj Bhawarpur, Rs 15 lakh for the community hall of Gayatri Trust, Rs 15 lakh for the construction of Dharamshala of Banjara Samaj Basna, Rs. 15 lakhs to Brahm Vidya Vihangam Yog Samiti, Rs. 15 lakhs to Vipra Samaj for construction of an additional room in Geeta Bhawan, and Rs 5 lakhs for community hall of Dhobi Samaj. Besides, he announced a financial grant of Rs 1.20 lakh to Neha Nayak for her B.Ed. studies.
