Attacks on Journalists in Rajasthan cannot be tolerated: Dr. Pathak.

New Delhi, 10 September 2022 (Agency).  The recent attacks on journalists in different parts of Rajasthan has been strongly condemned by Dr. Samrendra Pathak, the coordinator of the Joint Forum of Journalist Organizations. 

Such incidents did not happen often in Rajasthan, but the recent incidents are worrying, said Dr. Pathak, in a statement issued here today. He also demanded immediate arrests and harsh punishments for the culprits.

Pinkcity Press Club has demanded the police administration to arrest the accused immediately and take action.
State President of Periodical Press of India, Sunny Atreya has demanded from the Police Commissioner that the accused should be put behind the bars at the earliest.

Dr. Pathak said that earlier journalist Bhavani Singh Deora was harassed by the police at the behest of a leader for no reason. This is highly condemnable. State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot should take these incidents seriously. L.S.
