Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel dedicated 414 development works worth Rs 669.69 crore to the residents at the 'Awas NYAY Sammelan ' organized at the village of Parsada Sakri in Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district on September 25. This includes the laying of the foundation stone for 247 projects worth Rs. 195.50 crore and the inauguration of 167 projects with a cost of Rs. 474.18 crore. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel distributed departmental kits and cheques for various departmental schemes to beneficiaries during the event. Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi graced the event as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel performed the bhumipoojan for various slew of development projects which includes the construction of 21 different roads at a cost of Rs. 13.78 crore under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the renovation of 2 roads at a cost of Rs. 3.74 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Bilaspur, the construction of a high-level bridge and command area development and water management work in Kharang reservoir at a cost of Rs. 14.24 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, the construction and expansion of 17 health centres and health sub-centres at a cost of Rs. 9.32 crore under the Health Department, the construction of a bridge over the Kharun River and an access road on Kilometer 30/2 of the Bilaspur-Ratanpur Katghora Road at a cost of Rs. 2.65 crore, the construction of Mahuakapa anicut at a cost of Rs. 2.31 crore, and the construction of Ranibachli anicut at a cost of Rs. 2.34 crore respectively.  Similarly, bhumipoojan of works under the Rural Engineering Services includes 9 construction projects costing Rs. 2.20 crore, 6 projects in Masturi Janpad Panchayat costing Rs. 98 lakh, 8 different construction works costing Rs. 1.31 crore in Takhatpur, and 148 development works costing Rs 36.40 crore in Municipal Corporation Bilaspur respectively. Similarly, bhumipoojan of various works under the Electricity Department of Bilha development block includes construction of 33/11 KV sub-station costing Rs 1.96 crore, Under the Public Works Department Bilaspur (No. 02-), the construction of 03 roads costing Rs 15.14 crore, and under Public Works Department Bilaspur (No. 01), construction of 02 school buildings and 01 social building costing Rs 2.57 crore respectively.

The laying of the foundation stone for various works includes the construction of 10 buildings and drain work costing Rs 1.60 crore in Nagar Panchayat Takhatpur, 6 developmental works costing Rs 2.55 crore under Nagar Panchayat Bilha and 1 work under Amrit Mission in Nagar Panchayat Bodri costing Rs 72.55 crore.

Inauguration

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the garment factory in Ganiyari, Takhatpur development block, at a cost of Rs. 7.04 crore, and the garment factory in Nagoi, Bilha development block, at a cost of Rs. 7.04 crore. Additionally, inauguration under the Health Department includes 11 health centre buildings costing Rs. 3.25 crore, 7 anicuts and 1 reservoir construction work costing Rs. 18.18 crore under the Water Resources Department, the development and expansion of 16 different Swami Atmanand Excellent Schools costing Rs. 6.02 crore, under the Rural Engineering Services and Rs. 3.17 crore for 25 projects in Masturi Janpad Panchayat, Rs. 45 lakh for 3 projects in Bilha respectively. Similarly, the inauguration in the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation includes 75 different development projects costing Rs. 301.59 crore, Mission Amrit (Part-01) Surface Water Supply Scheme under Bilha Development Block, costing primarily Rs. 201 crore, and Mission Amrit (Part-02) Distribution Work costing Rs. 100.45 crore respectively. Similarly, the inauguration of various works includes, under the Public Works Department (Serial Number 02) Bilaspur, 6 projects costing Rs. 34.04 crore, and in the Public Works Department (Serial Number 01) Bilaspur, 7 projects costing Rs. 22.30 crore, 5 development projects in the Kota Janpad Panchayat worth Rs. 71 lakh and 23 development projects costing Rs. 49.31 crore were inaugurated under the Bilaspur Smart City project respectively.
