Raipur : Chief Minister to visit Durg district on January 3


Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be attending various programmes to be organized in Durg district on January 3. As per the tour schedule, Mr. Baghel will leave from Raipur at 10.30am and reach Bhilai-3 (Durg district) at 11am. At 12.30, he will visit heavy industrial area Hathkhoj, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation of various development works. Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will attend Samman Samaroh to be held at Ravishankar Stadium at 2.05pm and later, he will attend a local programme at 4pm.

 



Raipur : Chief Minister Baghel given a rousing welcome at Kondagaon


Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today was given a rousing welcome at district headquarter town Kondagaon.  Large crowds thronged to the place. He was felicitated at Vikasnagar stadium grounds.

Mr. Baghel was on a maiden visit to Kondagaon after assuming office as Chief Minister. He travelled in an open vehicle and waved to the crowds. The crowds welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers-garlands and sound of bands. Mr. Baghel was weighed in paddy and vegetables and ‘laddus’ at some places. Mr. Baghel expressed his gratitude to the grand welcome and promised the gathering that the region will be developed fast. Commercial Taxes (Excise) Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakma  MLAs Mr. Mohan Markam, Mr. Chandan Kashyap, Parliamentary Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Tiwari and several prominent personalities were also present.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reached Jaitakham Kara Road, District Headquarters, Janjgir and attended the District Level Teacher Ghasidas Jayanti celebrations held here. They wandered the white flag with ornaments and worshiped the olive branch and prayed for the prosperity of the state.

While addressing the function of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti in Kera Road, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that the views and principles of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji are relevant today. He said that saints are not for any one society, they are for the entire human society. Their message is useful and inspirational for everyone. He said that Baba guru Ghasidas has taught people to follow the path of truth. He said that Baba Guru Ghasidas, while giving meaning to the concept of a society without caste, gave the message of Manekha-Mankhe an equal and tried to lay human society in a form, which is exemplary for the entire society. He said that Guru Ghasidas also extended the language of Chhattisgarhi, its proof is Panthi Song. His compassion was broader. They did not think of mere human beings, but also gave messages of compassion to animals and birds.

The Chief Minister said that following the path stated by Baba Guru Ghasidas, Chhattisgarh will make the state a more developed and prosperous state. He said that the government of Chhattisgarh is the government and the workers' workers. We have waived the debts of farmers within just 10 days. Now farmers will be able to work farming with new zeal and excitement. Similarly, the state is being purchased at a rate of Rs 2500 per quintal. This will bring prosperity to the lives of farmers. He said that it is also being considered to forgive the agricultural credit taken from nationalized banks. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that water will be provided for irrigation dams if irrigation dams are water. There will also be arrangements for fodder for cattle. Boundaries will be made for the sacks. The Urban Administration and Development Minister, Shri Shiv Dahariya also addressed the Jubilee celebration. He said that Guru Ghasidas is remembered and world-famous. His ideas get inspiration of development and peace. He said that the state government along with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister is Chhattisgarh, now the dream of Chhattisgarh will be realized. He urged the people to follow the path stated by Baba to maintain happiness, prosperity and peace in the human society.

The Jayanti ceremony was addressed by Member of Parliament Smt Kamla Devi Patale, MLA Shri Narayana Chandel and Bijigaad MLA Mr. Chandra Rai and Mr. Harnam Singh. On this occasion, Mrs Manju Singh and Mr. Ramesh Pagwar welcomed the Chief Minister by offering a Shan, Khumri and symbol of an anchor. Before this, students and students of the earlier hostel highlighted the path and the notion of Guru Ghasidas through the song and dance. On this occasion the Chief Minister released the annual calendar released by the Third Class Employees Union District Janjgir.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that the state government will take care of the interests of all sections including farmers. The state government has taken a historic decision of the farmers' debt waiver and the purchase of paddy in Rs.2500. Every effort will be made by the state government for the development of farmers' prosperity and farming. Mr. Baghel was addressing the program of Hanuman Jayanti organized in village Patora of Patan Vikas block of Bagh Durg district. The Chief Minister offered worship at Hanuman temple here and sought blessings from him for the happiness and prosperity of the state.

The chief assured the villagers about proper action on demand of 50,000 liters of water tank construction, upgradation of Government High School Higher Secondary, Shamshan Ghat Expressway construction and settlement error correction. He has instructed the collector to conduct settlement error correction work by putting camp in the village. On this occasion, the local public representatives and the villagers made a sincere welcome to the Chief Minister.




Raipur : Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gives instructions to do recruitment on 1384 vacant posts of Assistant Professors


Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to Higher Education Department to fill 1384 vacancies for assistant professors in various colleges of state as soon as possible. He has directed the department to do recruitment on these posts through Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. It was also brought to Mr. Baghel's notice that 61 posts of Sports Officer in various colleges have been vacant. Chief Minister has given instructions to recruitment on these posts as well through Public Service Commission. It is noteworthy that the posts of Assistant Professor in many colleges of the state have been vacant since long time. Recruitment on these posts will not only provide employment to the youth of state but will also meet the requirement of division-wise assistant professors for the students in colleges.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has said that special attention should be given for providing employment to people in forest areas. He said that adequate quantity of bamboo should be supplied to the buses. They also directed the authorities to increase compensation in case of crop damage by elephants in forest areas. Mr. Baghel was reviewing the functions of Forest Department here today in the Ministry (Mahanadi Bhavan).

        Mr. Baghel instructed to organize workshop of district collectors to resolve cases of community forest rights accreditation issues. In the review meeting, the Chief Minister said that in order to set up a new plant for irradiation processing for forest areas employment and to make an action plan for marketing. He said that necessary kits should also be given to forest committees to make mango from Mango, which will provide employment to the people of the forest area. Mr. Baghel told the officers of the forest department that by running a campaign in the forests of the state, the plants of fruitful plants and vegetable seeds will be flown by air spraying helicopters. As a result, forest dwellers and tribal families will get vegetables and fruits for nutritious food while wild animals will not have to turn to the villages for food items. With the help of fruit plants and vegetable seeds, spraying of grass seeds will also help in the prevention of soil erosion.

       Shri Baghel reviewed various activities including the Hailali Prasar Yojana, Joint Forest Management Plan, Minoripenpage, Campa, Chief Minister Bamboo Development Scheme, Wildlife Management, along with meeting arrangements. Chief Secretary Mr. Ajay Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Forest Mr. KK Khaitan, Secretary of the Chief Minister Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Special Secretary Mr. Toman Singh Sonawani, Special Secretary of Primitive Castes and Scheduled Castes Department Smt. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale and Principal Chief Forest Senior officials of the forest department were present along with the guardian Mr. Mudit Kumar. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Khetan presented the presentation of departmental schemes.

Swearing-in ceremony of Chhattisgarh state's Cabinet members was held today at Police Parade Ground today. On the occasion, Governor Mrs. Anandiben Patel administered oath of office and confidentiality to nine ministers of the Cabinet.

Ministers who took oath of office today are namely Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Dr Premsai Singh Tekaam, Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Mr. Kawasi Lakhme, Mr. Shivkumar Dahariya, Mrs. Anila Bhodia, Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Mr. Guru Rudra Kumar and Mr. Umesh Patel.

In the swearing-in ceremony of the cabinet held today, Chief Minister of the state Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Minister Duo Mr. TS Singhdeo and Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, newly-elected MLA Mr. Charandas Mahant, Mr. Rampukar Singh, Member of Rajya Sabha Mr. PL Puniya were present. Besides, prominent citizens, senior officials of state government, and a large number of common people were also present on the occasion. Land acquired for Tata plant will be returned to farmers : Cm Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur : The farmers whose land was acquired in the Lohandiguda area of ​​the Bastar district, for the Tata Steel Plant, will be given back their land soon. Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has instructed the officials to complete the necessary process for this and bring the proposal in the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Ministers, referring to his promise made to the farmers.

It is notable that along with Shri Baghel, Member of Parliament Mr. Rahul Gandhi also assured the farmers of Lohandiguda area during Bastar migration that their acquired land would be brought back to them. It has been promised to the farmers of the state that in the agricultural land acquired for industrial use, no project has been set up within 5 years from the date of its acquisition, it will be returned to the farmers.

Mr. Baghel has asked officials to start the process immediately for the Tata Steel Plant in Bastar district to return the acquired land of 10 villages to the farmers, according to this point in the Jan Declaration. This land was acquired for the Tata plant in February 2008 and December 2008. Among the villages in which the land was acquired for the plant were included in village Chhindgaon, Gram Kumhali, Chhindgaon, Beliapal, Badanji, Dabpal, Largepoda, Balar and Sirisguda and under village Tehargaon, under Tehsil Lohandiguda village Tarchaguda. No industry has been established by this related company.




Immediate action on Chief Minister's instructions to control extra expenditure : Calendar publishing by Corporations-Boards to be stopped


Raipur : Except Revenue Department and Tourism Department of the state government, all other departments, corporations, boards and public undertakings will not be publishing new calendars of year 2019. All the departments and government organizations have been directed to use diary-calendars published by Revenue Department.

Taking immediate action on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel's instructions to control excessive official expenditures, General Administration Department has issued circular from Secretariat (Mahanadi Bhavan) to all the departments in the context. Circular states that Revenue Department gets government diaries and calendars printed, and besides that various departments, corporations and boards also get their own diaries and calendars published individually. It has been mentioned in the circular that as per the instructions of Chief Minister, except Tourism Department, all the government departments, corporations and boards etc will be using the official diaries and calendars published by Revenue Department, and no separate publishing of department-wise diaries and calendars will be done. It is noteworthy that State Government's diaries and calendars are printed and published by the government printing house under Revenue Department.




Raipur : Chhattisgarh to have Journalist Security Law : Chief Minister Mr. Baghel's instructions


 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has taken the initiative to form journalist security law in the state. On the third day of taking charge as Chief Minister, Mr. Baghel has issued instructions to prepare format of this law.

With this initiative of state government under the leadership of Mr. Baghel, Chhattisgarh would become the first state of the country to have journalist protection law. It is noteworthy that it was promised in the manifesto that protection of journalist would be the top priority of government.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions that the journalist security provisions in various states should be studied and also suggestions from journalists, human rights activists, legal experts etc should be taken, and draft of this law should be presented before him as soon as possible.
