Bilasapur : Today during the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ Campaign, Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel released the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district’s tourist circuit map at Circuit House Gaurela. Many religious, historical and natural tourist places in the district have been located on the tourist circuit map. These include Samundalai Kund, Shivghat, Lakhanghat, Gaganai Nature Camp, Benibai, Adi-Shakti Temple, Chunha Dai, Pareva Path, Tarakhaar Waterfall, Johaar Waterfall, Billamgarh Cave, Hawapatthar, Ghaghra Dam, Jogi Cave, Sonkund, Kari-aam, Malaniya Dam, Jaleshwar Mahadev, Rajmergarh, Durgadhara Waterfall, ‘Mai Ka Mandap’, Kabir Chabutra, Laxman Dhara Waterfall, Achanakmar Tiger Reserve, etc.
Information about all the major tourist places in the district will be easily available to the tourists through this tourist circuit map. These tourist places are being developed for the convenience of the tourists. With the development of the tourism sector in district, women associated with SHGs and the youths of the district will get an opportunity for employment and earning income. Due to a lack of information about the tourist places, people are directly reaching Amarkantak from the Railway station. The availability of this tourism circuit map will help the tourist to visit these tourist places of the district and they can enjoy their trip to Amarkantak.
