Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Limited (AEIM) Secures 11.28 Acres in Polymatech Industrial Park, Nava Raipur

Construction to Begin Immediately, Commercial Production Slated for Q3 2026

Raipur : In a development signaling Chhattisgarh’s rapid ascent into India’s high-technology manufacturing landscape, Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Limited (AEIM), a flagship entity of the Polymatech Group, has been allotted 11.28 acres of prime industrial land by the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRDA) within the prestigious Polymatech Industrial Park.

This strategic allotment comes in the wake of the Government of Chhattisgarh’s robust push toward next-generation technology industries, reinforced by a capital subsidy of up to 40%, widely regarded as one of the most competitive incentives in the sector.

Construction on AEIM’s state-of-the-art semiconductor materials facility is set to commence immediately in November 2025. The company’s architectural and engineering teams will deploy innovative post-tensioned slab technology, enabling expansive structural spans and significantly shortened construction schedules. With de-shuttering achievable in just 10 days per floor, AEIM targets completion of the first phase of its multi-story industrial complex by May 2026 — an unusually rapid pace for semiconductor-grade infrastructure.

In alignment with its aggressive operational roadmap, AEIM has finalized orders for advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems from top global suppliers in Japan, Korea, and the United States. These precision-engineering systems are currently under production and timed to meet the company’s commissioning schedule.

The Raipur-based facility is projected to begin commercial production in the third quarter of 2026, positioning AEIM among the fastest-scaling high-tech manufacturing ventures in the region.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Vishaal Nandam, Executive Director of AEIM, stated:
“The extraordinary support from the Government of Chhattisgarh sets a national benchmark for industry collaboration. This world-class facility will position Raipur as a global semiconductor hub. We are pledging ₹10,000 crore in investments and will generate over 4,000 direct jobs for young engineers, driving skill development and economic vitality in the region.”

Akila Suresh, Corporate Secretary of AEIM, added that the company has already begun strengthening its talent base:“Today, we conducted interviews and onboarded the second phase of engineers, who will receive specialized training at our facilities in Chennai, Singapore, and Estonia. Recruitment will proceed in subsequent phases to build a robust talent pipeline.”

A Facility Designed for India’s Semiconductor Future

The upcoming AEIM plant will specialize in manufacturing cutting-edge semiconductor materials, including sapphire ingots, wafers, optoelectronic components, and next-generation electronic substrates. The investment reinforces Chhattisgarh’s rise as a preferred national destination for high-technology industries and strengthens India’s strategic ambitions in semiconductor materials and electronic component manufacturing.

Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Limited (AEIM), part of the Polymatech Group, is a leading developer of next-generation semiconductor materials, optoelectronic technologies, and high-precision electronic components. Supported by strong R&D capabilities and an innovation-driven manufacturing philosophy, AEIM is advancing India’s semiconductor self-reliance and contributing to the nation’s evolving technological architecture.

The upcoming Raipur facility will further consolidate AEIM’s focus on sapphire ingots, wafers, optoelectronic components, and advanced electronic substrates, contributing significantly to India’s broader semiconductor strategy and fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem in Chhattisgarh.

"Our government’s development vision is to position Chhattisgarh as a leading hub of advanced technology, high-value manufacturing and future-ready industries. The establishment of AEIM’s semiconductor materials facility in Nava Raipur reflects the accelerating momentum of this vision. By creating an enabling ecosystem—marked by world-class infrastructure, proactive policies and one of India’s most competitive incentive structures—we are attracting transformative investments that will shape the next 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s growth. This project strengthens our long-term roadmap of building a knowledge-driven, innovation-led economy, empowering our youth with opportunities in high-tech sectors, and ensuring that Chhattisgarh emerges as a dynamic contributor to India’s technological future." - Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
