Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated in the Sushasan Camp organized in village Bhainsa of Raipur district. On this occasion, he flagged off the awareness chariot for the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan running from 29 May to 12 June under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi across the country. He handed over the keys of 110 concrete houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the beneficiaries in the camp.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan is being started. Scientists of the central government will also come in this campaign and will work in teams with the scientists of the state. We will work for agricultural development in the state by contacting more than 13 lakh farmers of the state in the coming days. He said that on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, agricultural scientists and researchers will go from laboratory to field and make farmers aware about advanced and balanced agriculture and will also take suggestions from the farmers.

While addressing the Sushasan Shivir, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister has resolved that every poor person in the country should have a permanent house. To fulfill the resolution of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our government has approved more than 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the homeless and poor families of the state. Lakhs of people have got their permanent houses. Also, the construction of the remaining houses is going on. He said that all the remaining eligible people will also be added to Awas Plus Plus. He said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs. 1000 per month is being transferred to the accounts of more than 70 lakh sisters in the state. The work of adding names to the scheme will soon be started for those whose names are not added.

Feedback taken from beneficiaries

Chief Minister Sai discussed with the beneficiaries in the Samadhan camp and took feedback of the schemes. Beneficiary Shri Chamar Singh Patel told the Chief Minister that keeping in mind the falling water level, apart from paddy cultivation, horticulture and crops with less water consumption and more income should be promoted. He also appealed to the farmers for organic farming. Mrs. Chandan thanked the Chief Minister for starting the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. She said that she uses the money of this scheme for the education of children as well as other needs.

Announcements of the Chief Minister

Chief Minister Shri Sai announced various development works worth about Rs 3.5 crore for the development of the area in the Samadhan camp. Among these, Rs 75 lakh for primary health center in village Bhaisa, Rs 75 lakh 23 thousand for high school building construction, Rs 55 lakh for water tank and pipeline extension, Rs 50 lakh for higher secondary school, Rs 20 lakh for compound and shed construction, Rs 42 lakh for pipeline extension in village Amodi, Rs 24 lakh for construction of three additional rooms in higher secondary school. On this occasion, he also announced opening of new police post in Bhainsa. Chief Minister also released Krishi Patrika in the camp. Under the schemes of Agriculture Department, grant cheques for agricultural equipment of beneficiaries, tricycles to Divyangjans, Kisan Credit Card were also provided in Samadhan Camp.

Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu and Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam while addressing the program stressed that research should not remain confined to the lab only, scientists should go to every village from the lab and provide information to the farmers. 100 scientists of the central government will come here, along with this the scientists and officers of various departments will hold 2 camps every day and will give information to the farmers about advanced and balanced farming. He appealed to the farmers of the state and said that as many farmers as possible should participate in this campaign. Discuss about what crop to grow in which field, how much fertilizer, seeds and medicine is needed and make agriculture advanced. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi thinks that the stronger our farmers are, the more powerful and strong the country will be. Local MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb also addressed the program and placed his demand before the Chief Minister for various development works in the area.

Collector Raipur Shri Gaurav Singh told in the Samadhan camp that 2,98,635 applications were received in the first phase in the district and 12,003 applications were received through camps, out of which 2,89,968 were of demands and 8641 were of complaints. All the applications have been resolved. Only 26 cases of complaints are pending. He informed that camps were also organized for making learning licenses in Samadhan camps. More than 5000 learning licenses have been made in these camps.

On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation Shri Chandrahas Chandrakar, Chairman of Kisan Kalyan Parishad Shri Suresh Chandravanshi, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary Mrs. Sahla Nigar, Commissioner of Raipur Division Shri Mahadev Kavre, SSP Shri Lal Umed Singh, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Raipur Shri Kumar Vishwaranjan and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Shri Vishwadeep along with a large number of local public representatives and villagers were present.
