Announcement to upgrade Katghora Community Health Center to 100 beds hospital
Chief Minister attended Lord Sahastrabahu Jayanti program in Korba’s Katghora block.
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday attended the Lord Sahastrabahu Jayanti program organized by Kalar Samaj at Katghora development block headquarters of Korba district as the chief guest. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Lord Sahastrabahu showed the path of public welfare by establishing a religious state, our government is also moving forward on these welfare paths and working for the welfare, happiness and prosperity of the people of Chhattisgarh.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced to upgrade the Community Health Center to a 100-bed hospital to expand health facilities in Katghora. He announced the upgradation of Katghora Rest House along with naming the square situated near Chakchakwa hill in Katghora Ambikapur National Highway in honor of Lord Sahastrabahu.
Describing the Kalar community as progressed and educated, Chief Minister Shri Sai said, “Today the youth of the community are in high positions. Along with the contribution of other communities of the state, Kalar community will also have an important contribution in the development journey in Chhattisgarh in compliance of Vision Developed India 2047- a vision and pledge by PM Shri Narendra Modi.”
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Modi's guarantee is being implemented in the state. As soon as the government came into power, farmer’s paddy was purchased at Rs 3100 per quintal, due balance of pending bonus was paid off along with paddy was purchased at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. Besides Tendu leaf remuneration rate was increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500 per standard sack and around 70 lakh women of the state are being given RS 1000 monthly under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. After the release of funds for PM Awas, the construction of houses has also started. People are being benefited from the Ramlala Darshan Yojana. He stated that this year, there has been favorable rainfall, and the paddy procurement will begin on November 14. Improved arrangements have been put in place to ensure that farmers face no difficulties during the process.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also congratulated the community leaders for organizing the Yuvak Yuvati Parichay Sammelan at the venue. He encouraged students to give their invaluable contribution in the development of the society in future.
While chairing the program, Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that the Kalchuris have a big contribution in the development of Chhattisgarh. The inscriptions and other archaeological heritage here reveal the important contribution of the Kalchuri kings. He said that former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee created Chhattisgarh state. Now this state is moving towards development under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
Industry, Commerce and Labor Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Nagar Palika Katghora President Shri Ratan Mittal, Society President Shri Ramgopal Dixena, former MLA Shri Vinay Jaiswal, Shri Vikas Mahato, Shri Rajiv Singh along with society officials and people of the society were present in large numbers in the program.
