Vice President Dhankhar to honour recipients of the 2024 State Awards
Raipur : Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur on November 6. Governor Shri Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai warmly welcomed Shri Dhankar. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, along with MLAs Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Indra Kumar Sahu, Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb, and Shri Anuj Sharma, also greeted him with floral bouquets.
The Vice President will grace the closing ceremony of Rajyotsav-2024 as the Chief Guest. He will also attend the State Award ceremony. During this event, he will honour notable individuals and institutions for exceptional achievements across various fields. Governor Shri Ramen Deka will preside over the ceremony, with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh attending as special guests.
Celebrated as Rajyotsav-2024, the Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day festivities have been underway since November 4. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the event, initiating a three-day festival. The celebration includes exhibitions by all government departments and vibrant cultural programs held each evening.
