Chief Minister Mr. Baghel met the general public of Chhotedongar in Abujhmad and announced various development works

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Chhotedongar in Narayanpur district of Abujhmad as a part of his 'Bhent Mulaqat' campaign. , The Chief Minister offered prayers at Mata Gudi after reaching Devgudi and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He planted a Kadam plant in the Deoguri courtyard. During this, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel conversed with Gaita (priests) and presented him with a dhoti-kurta as a gift. Mr. Baghel was honored by the priests by tying a paiga as a symbol of tribal tradition. He also performed Bhoomipujan for the restoration work of 104 Devgudis and 104 Ghotul centers of tribal culture and faith at Chhotedongar at a cost of Rs.18 crore.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel made several announcements to provide quality educational infrastructure to the residents of this remote Naxal-affected area. He also approved the establishment of ITI and Naveen Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School at Chhotedongar to include the residents of this region to take advantage of educational opportunities. Approval was also given for numerous other development works like hospitals, roads, irrigation facilities, and community building. He instructed the officials to make cash payments for the purchase of tendu leaves.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister introduced Small Lift Irrigation Scheme in Taragaon, Upgradation of Bade Jamhari Government High School to Higher Secondary School, Upgradation of Kanhargaon Government Secondary School to High School, 32 Garh Halba Samaj in Chhotedongar, 84 Parganas of Gondwana Samaj, Marar Samaj, Community building construction for Yadav society, asphaltization of a 5 km road from Chandagaon to Pani village via Sonapal. An announcement was made to open 5 new paddy procurement centers in Garhbengal and Kukdajhor, up-gradation work of making additional rooms to be constructed in Danteshwari temple. In a bid to expand medical facilities, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of the Community Health Center at Chhotedongar and 50 bedded Mother-Child specialty  Hospital in Narayanpur. Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Handicrafts Development Board Mr. Chandan Kashyap, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi were also present on the occasion.

Maserati khasra distributed to 1121 farmers of newly surveyed villages

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given Masahti Khasra to 1121 farmers of newly surveyed villages of the Abujhmad area in Chhote Dongar. So far, a total of 2500 farmers of Narayanpur district have been given masahti khasra. Khasra for the area of 1414.24-hectare  was distributed to the beneficiaries. So far, the survey of 18 villages such villages has been completed.

Winner of National Mallakhamb Competition felicitated

Rajesh, a 12-year-old boy belonging to the Madia tribe, and the winner of the National  Mallakhamb Competition was felicitated by the Chief Minister
 National competition winner Rajesh's name is recorded in the India Book of World Records.
During the meeting, a villager, Mr. Sundaram Poyam, told Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel that after selling 50 quintals of paddy, money was immediately transferred to his account, and his loan of one lakh rupees has also been waived. On being asked by the Chief Minister what did he do with the money, farmer Poyam said that the field has been cordoned off with the financial assistance provided by the state government. Lata didi informed that by the formation of Bihaan group, she has bought 50 quintals of cow dung., she has been cultivating mushrooms, and selling them for Rs 200 per kg. The Chief Minister also tasted a local tamarind drink prepared by the woman. On the demand of the woman, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a bore and shed for the group. During the inspection of PDS in Chhotedongar, when the Chief Minister asked the villagers whether there was any complaint or not...everybody in one voice said no.

Shaili Yadav, a 12th class student of Narayanpur has scored 97.5 % in her tenth boards and has secured 6th rank, Tinisha Sahu, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School has secured 2nd rank in her 12th board and Murlidhar of Halba tribe has topped the district in the 12th boards. All these scholars were felicitated by the Chief Minister who congratulated them and wished them luck for a bright future.
