Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government disbursed more than Rs 135.96 crore to over 1.3 lakh labourer families

Raipur : The Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has successfully implemented a range of welfare schemes benefiting labourer families across the state. Till August 8, over 1.3 lakh labourer families have been provided the benefits of these initiatives, with the Labour Department disbursing more than Rs 135.96 crore in financial assistance. Notably, during the weekly ‘Jandarshan’ program at the Chief Minister's residence, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai distributed cheques totalling Rs 11.41 crore to 6,205 beneficiaries under various Labour Department schemes.
According to Labour Department officials, the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Worker Board has provided Rs 46.61 crore financial aid to 23,308 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Noni Shashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana during Jandarshan programs held at the Chief Minister's residence and across various districts from December 13, 2023, to August 8, 2024. Similarly, Rs 58.31 crore has been disbursed to 29,161 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana, and Rs 2.39 crore to 1,396 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana.
Additionally, the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Mrityu Evam Divyang Sahayata Yojana has provided Rs 8.4 crore to 828 beneficiaries, while Rs 1.99 crore has been provided to 997 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Shramik Siyan Sahayata Yojana. Under the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana, Rs 2.87 crore has been granted to 287 beneficiaries, and Rs 15.37 crore has been distributed to 74,322 students under the Mukhyamantri Naunihal Chhatravriti Yojana. All these funds have been directly transferred to the beneficiaries' bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
