Minister Mr. Lakhma acted as the bi-lingual interpretor in the conversation
In the second phase of ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Bastar Division today. Commencing his tour from Konta assembly constituency, Chief Minister visited community health center in Konta, before attending the Bhent-Mulaqat programme. He inspected the facilities available at the health center and inquired the hospital staff about the availability of medicines. Chief Minister had a look at the stock register and the prescriptions. Meanwhile, he met a lonely elderly patient. He sat beside the patient and compassionately asked him about his health and well-being. But the elderly patient spoke and understood only the local dialect, so Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma played the bi-lingual interpretor for the conversation.
At first, Chief Minister asked the elderly man about his name and he told that his name is ‘Muchaki Budhra’ and he lives in Darbhaguda. He told that he is suffering from tuberculosis and a few other ailments. He had fever for last one week and he had come to the health center for treatment, told the patient to Chief Minister. In response, Chief Minister expressed concern and asked him to complete his course of treatment properly and get well soon. Everyone at the health center was mesmerized to see Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel amid them.
