Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai flags off 'Shram Van' for worker registration

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off the 'Shram Van' from Bagiya village in Jashpur district on Sunday. The van will tour various gram panchayats in the district, facilitating the registration of workers. Through this initiative, unorganized and construction workers aged between 18 to 59 years residing in different Gram Panchayats of Jashpur district will be registered, enabling them to benefit from various welfare schemes provided by the Labour Department.
In the district, 29,537 workers have been registered under the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, while 29,728 workers are registered under the Chhattisgarh Unorganized Workers State Social Security Board.
