Deputy Chief Minister participated in the 'Mela-Madai' program organized in village Kejadah of Kabirdham district

Shri Sharma made several announcements for the development of the area

Raipur : Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma today participated in 'Mela-Madai' program organized in village Kejadah of Kabirdham district. Shri Sharma commenced the program with customary rituals and prayed for prosperity, peace and progress of the state.
 
Upon his arrival at the venue, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma was accorded a warm welcome by the dance troupes of Yadav community dressed in traditional attires of Chhattisgarh. They played melodious tunes on traditional musical instruments. Shri Sharma congratulated the area residents for successfully organizing Mela-Madai in a traditional manner and made several announcements for the development of the area.
 
Shri Sharma announced sanction of Rs 15 lakh for the construction of community hall and stage in Baroda Kala, Rs 5 lakh for CC road in village Singarpur and Rs 4 lakh for CC road in village Sonpur.
 
He assured to fulfill all the demands of the villagers on priority basis. 
 
Shri Sharma said in his address to the villagers that Mela-Madai is an important part of our rural traditions and culture. Mela-Madai is organized to celebrate the unity and prosperity of the village. 
 
Deputy Chief Minister said that in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24, a maximum of 21 quintals of paddy per acre is being procured from farmers at the support price of Rs 3100 per quintal. A provision has been made in the budget for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Every year an amount of Rs 12 thousand will be deposited in the accounts of the mothers. He said that landless labourers will be given an incentive amount of Rs 10,000 every year.
 
Mr Sharma affirmed that all the promises made under PM Modi's guarantee will be fulfilled. He said that till now the Government of Chhattisgarh has fulfilled the ten big guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and remaining will also be delivered soon. On this occasion, public representatives and villagers including Mr. Kailash, Mr. Ishwari Sahu, Mr. Maniram Sahu, Mr. Santosh Mishra were present.
