Raipur :  Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the felicitation ceremony and general meeting of the newly elected MLAs of the tribal community organized by the Anusuchit Janjati Shasakiya Sevak Vikas Sangh at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital, Raipur. Chief Minister commenced the function by lighting the lamp. During the event, the Chief Minister was accorded a traditional welcome by the Sarv Adivasi Samaj with a Gajmala and turban, accompanied by the singing of a traditional tribal welcome song.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said “Today, on the 18th of December, we pay tribute to the most respected Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji on his birth anniversary. He gave the message of "Mankhe Mankhe Ek Saman" to society. It is a moment of great prosperity for our society in Chhattisgarh, where nearly 32 per cent of the population belongs to the Scheduled Tribe community. There was a collective expectation that a tribal leader would assume the role of Chief Minister. The expectations of our tribal society have been realized under the effective leadership of the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi.”
