Akhilesh Yadav's 4 public meetings are canceled in Azamgarh, here's why

Lucknow. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has been shocked on the last day of campaigning for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Akhilesh Yadav's National President of SP, 4 Sabhas, Azamgarh Sadar, Gopalpur, and Mehehanagar Assembly constituencies have been canceled. On the cancellation of the meetings, the Samajwadi Party has made serious allegations against the district administration.

Azamgarh SP District President Havildar Yadav said that everyone knows that the Azamgarh alliance always gets the win. Entitlements related to the frustration of the defeat and the pressures of power, especially the district administration, are looking for an excuse to cancel the elections in technical terms. That is why the pre-determined rates of expenditure on election items have been revised, for two days remaining in the expiry of the promotion.

Yadav said that due to the Dibrugarh Pact of Power and Administration, on May 10, the proposed public meetings of SP President and Lok Sabha candidate Akhilesh Yadav in Azamgarh has been canceled. Azamgarh District Magistrate (DM) Shivakant Dwivedi said that no meeting of Akhilesh Yadav has been canceled on behalf of the district administration. The notice has been sent to the Expenditure Observer on behalf of the Election Commission for expenditure on all parties. They canceled their meetings themselves. Chief Electoral Officer L. Venkateshwar Lu said that the amendment in the rates of election expenses is the subject of the jurisdiction of the District Election Officer.
