Mumbai : Kalki 2898 AD, a blockbuster business film, did not get much response from critics. Public sentiment was also not very positive about this film. Many people found the film slow and boring, there were so many complaints about the first half that director Nag Ashwin also had to answer about its buildup.
Now Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has also targeted superstar actor Prabhas regarding the film. Arshad Warsi said about this film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, I saw Kalki, I did not like it. I feel very bad when... Amit ji has done an incredible job. I could never understand that person. I swear that if we had the power like that guy, life would be made. He is very unreal. While Arshad praised Amitabh Bachchan a lot, he also cursed Prabhas for playing the character of Bhairava.
Arshad Warsi said, Prabhas, I am very sad that why did he look like a joker in the film, why? I want to see him like Mad Max. I want to see him like Mel Gisbon. What have you made him like? Why do you do this? I don't understand. Arshad Warsi told in a recent interview on YouTube that how despite being a technically very advanced movie and earning well, it did not win the love of the audience.
It is known that many people complained about Prabhas' character in the film that his character did not get the right treatment. Arshad Warsi also gave his reaction about Rajkumar Rao's film Srikant and Sharvari Wagh's film Munjya released recently. Munna Bhai MBBS fame actor said, I saw Srikant and I liked it very much. I think Rajkumar Rao has done a wonderful job. He has done a great job. Regarding Munjya, Arshad said that I have heard a lot of positive things about that film. It is a small film with a new boy and Sharvari. Let us tell you that Kalki 2898 AD made many records at the box office and its total worldwide earnings were around 1100 crores, but despite this the audience found the film boring.(Agency)
