Meetings regarding voter awareness under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) today

In the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Mr. Sunil Kumar Chandramanshi, today, a meeting has been held in respect of voter awareness at 11 am on October 10. This meeting will be the Divisional Officer's Office, Mahasamund, in which a human chain will be prepared in the Mahasamund city on October 13, 2018. Sub-divisional officer said that voter awareness is being carried out with the aim of increasing the percentage of voting under the sweep program in the district on the guidance and direction of Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta. In the meeting, he addressed the Chief Executive Officer of the Janpad Panchayat, Chief Municipal Officer, Block Education Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Water Resources, Project Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Station Incharge, Traffic Incharge, Block Medical Officer, Government Non Government College Principal and Sweep Nodal Officer Nehru Yuva Kendra has specifically asked to be present in the meeting.




Political parties make ideal code of conduct

The timetable for the general election of 2018 by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi has been released on October 6, 2018. Simultaneously the district code of conduct will be effective till December 11, 2018. Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta has asked all political parties to follow the Model Code of Conduct. He said that on receiving the complaint in this regard, action will be taken against the concerned people under the Public Representation Act, 1951 and Election Operations Rules, 1961.




Udan Dasta will declare in his local jurisdiction in his local language

Each Flying Squad of the Legislative Assembly of 2018 will announce the local language in its jurisdiction through the public declaration system installed on its vehicle. According to the order issued by Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta, under Section 171 kh' of the Indian Penal Code, a person may be in cash or in the form of a person for the purpose of inducing a person to exercise his electoral right during the election process. Prays or takes It will be punishable with imprisonment or fines or up to a year. In addition, according to Section 171C of the Indian Penal Code, whoever threatens to injure a candidate or an elector or any other person, then he is punishable with imprisonment, fine, or both for one year or two.




Vidhan Sabha Elections-2014: Compliance of Official-Employees Model Code of Conduct

The Election Commission of India has been released on October 6, 2018, by the Election Commission of New Delhi, for the general election of 2018. At the same time, all the officers-employees employed for the conduct of elections under section 28A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, shall be deemed to be on deputation in the Election Commission until the results are declared and by that time, under the control, superintendence and discipline of the Election Commission, Code of ethics will follow. As per the order issued by Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta, all the officers-employees of the district will discharge their duties without fair and without discrimination caste, religion, sex etc. Do not participate in any political activities or give any assistance. The above instructions should be strictly followed. In case of non-compliance, action will be taken against the concerned people under the Representation of the People Act, 1951.




Assembly Election 2018: Control Room Established

After the announcement of the Assembly Election 2018 by the Election Commission of India, the control room has been set up for the various teams at the district headquarters on the instructions of Collector and District Magistrate Himashikhar Gupta who will be active for 24 hours. Mahasamund Collector's meeting of the deadline

Collector Shri Himashikhar Gupta took a time-limit meeting in the meeting room of the District Office here today. In the meeting, he said that the Model Code of Conduct has been implemented in connection with Vidhan Sabha elections 2018. He said that hoardings, flakes, slogans etc. have been removed from all the places. He told all the concerned officials that the information provided about the distortion of property at different places has been made available to the district election office immediately. He also said that all SDMs and CMOs removed illegal hoardings immediately and also made them doomedal. Make sure to list the valid hoardings and their numbering. He also gave directions to the Chief Executive Officers of the District Panchayats in this regard.
The collector and district election officer said that the training programs of the polling parties and the training programs of the Sector Officers should be done immediately and trained. He said that all the Sector Officers appointed for the Vidhan Sabha Elections 2018 will keep complete information of EVM machine and VP pat and will be aware of its functioning and procedures.

He also instructed the training of micro observers. In the meeting, he said that all SDMs, CEOs, CMOs should now prepare for distribution of voter slip for assembly election 2018. He instructed to mark the polling station for web casting. He has instructed to sweep sweep programs at a faster pace and better. In the meeting, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Riturraj Raghuvanshi, Forest Officer Mr. Alok Tiwari, Additional Collector Mr. Sharif Mohammad Khan, Joint Collector Mr. Shivkumar Tiwari, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue and various departments district level officers were present.

Awareness rally to increase voting percentage


On the guidance and direction of Mahasamund, 08 October 2018 / Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta, the sweep program is being organized with the aim of increasing the percentage of voting in the district. Sub-divisional magistrate will hold possession of rest house

Mahasamund, 08 October 2018 / India Election Commission has announced the Assembly Election 2018 Collector and District Magistrate, Mr. Himashikhar Gupta, for permission to use Helipad to take helicopter by the candidates of the district, 39, 40, 41 and 42 assembly constituencies and political parties in the district for assembly elections -2018, to allow Mahasamund, Bagbahara, In Pithora and Saraypali, the departmental penalties have been authorized. The concerned Sub-Divisional Officers will give permission for assembly areas under their own discipline. Reporting will essentially give returning officer, nodal officer, expenditure surveillance team, video surveillance team and all concerned.
