Collector Dugga informed media representatives about the assembly election process

Korea, 07 October 2018 / Collector and District Election Officer, Shri Narendra Kumar Dugga informed the representatives of print and electronic media in the meeting of the district collectorate here today through the press briefing regarding preparations for the Model Code of Conduct and preparation of Assembly Election 2018.
Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Dugga said that the Model Code of Conduct has become effective as the election program is announced. Along with the implementation of the code of conduct, Section 144 has also been made in the district. All of us have to follow. If any person or representatives of political parties are performing any activity against the Code of Conduct, strict harsh action will be taken against them under the property deportation act. He said that in the state two phases will be voted. Voting will take place in the first phase on 18th November in the 18th Assembly and on November 20 in the 72st Assembly in the second phase. Polling in the second phase in Korea district will be held. For this, the nomination papers will be filed by the candidate from October 26 to November 2, 2018. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on 03 November and candidates can be withdrawn on November 05 and voting will be held on November 20. The votes will be calculated on December 11. The entire process of election will be completed by December 13. The collector and district election officer gave detailed information of the complete action taken under the Model Code of Conduct during the election to the journalists in the press. He urged the media representatives to cooperate in peaceful and unbiased polls in the district. During the press conference, representatives from the print and electronic media of the district including the Additional Collector Mr. R. A. Kuruvanshi and Deputy District Election Officer Mr. J.N.Verma were present in large number.

Placement Camp in different training institutions from October 10
