Pilgrims said that here the Chief Minister has given us arrangements for accommodation, food, medicines in a very good way, and we have provided special coaches in the country to send people back home, all of us are very happy with the pilgrims.

'NIKHAR' program for improving the achievements of class VIII and Ninth

Raipur : For the first time in the state, 'Nikhar' program has been launched to improve the achievements of class VIII and Ninth children of government schools. Under the program, base line assessment will be done to improve the achievements of children and comprehensive efforts will be made for proper development of the children's intellectual capacity.

In today's first phase, the State Educational Research and Training Council organized the orientation program of the District Level Officers of the Education Department. The Chief Secretary of the School Education Department congratulated the successful state level assessment and said that after the assessment, the most important task is to make honest efforts to improve the condition of the children.

It is noteworthy that the technical support for implementing the program is being supported by 'The Transform Trust'. With them, no financial assistance has been contracted by the overall education.

Under this program, this scheme is being implemented by preparing state-of-the-art teaching materials by studying this scheme, operated in other states. In the first phase, Masters Trainers are being prepared during the summer holidays in ten districts of the state-Bijapur, Kanker, Mahasamund, Gariyaband, Raipur, Durg, Balodabazar, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa and Korba.

Prior to opening the school, three-three-day training for classes VIII and 9th teaching teachers of Hindi, English, Mathematics and Science will be organized in these districts. The program will be implemented in schools by giving one day training to the headlines and principals of all schools in these districts.

Under the program Baseline assessment of class XII and Ninth children of all upper primary and high schools of selected districts will be done,This information will be given to know how many children of these classes are class-less than three and how many children are class-less than five and how many children are in Class-VIII level.After this assessment, continuous efforts will be made to improve the level of children.

Under the program, 200 hours of classrooms will be organized in regular classes within 69 days, the first of which will be taught the 18-day foundation course.Under the Foundation Course, one hour of Hindi, English, Mathematics and Science classes will be organized every day.There will be a total of 72 hours teaching, in which the children of a better level will be improved in the basic skills of all children, together with children of their own.

After this 45-day cooperative learning phase will be organized, in which 45-45 minutes of English, Mathematics and Science classes will be organized every day.In this phase, a total of 101 hours and 15 minutes will be studied. In this phase, focus on important learning outcomes in all disciplines so that children can easily understand the concepts further.

The concluding camp for 6 days for English, Mathematics and Science subjects will be organized in the third and final phase of the program,In which a subject of 45 minutes will be held in a subject of 2.15 hours per day. A total of 13.30 hours of classes will be organized in six days.In this period, children will be given the exam preparation. After the third phase of the program, online tests like baseline will be organized for these children and improvement of children's level between both tests will be assessed

Based on the experience of the 'Nikhar' Program in these ten districts, the upcoming session will be implemented in the other districts from the upcoming session and will be implemented. In addition to the baseline and endline test question papers under the program, separate implementation indicators will be provided for teachers and students.To introduce teachers to different concepts, introduction of activities and practice manuals for children will be provided.
