Organized marathon races on the occasion of Surgical Strike Day

BEMETARA : Opportunities for Surgical Strike Day Today, at 7am on Saturday, marathon race was organized at Jayastambh Chak Bemetra. The race ended in the Garden of Bawmohatra Road. In the race, Collector Mahadev Kaware, Senior Superintendent of Police H.R. Manohar, Municipal Council President Vijay Sinha, CEO of District Panchayat. S. Alok, Additional Collector S. R. Women's, A.S.P. Vimal Bass flagged off. First, second and third runners were awarded cash prize in the race. First class in the girls category Neerah Sahu II Q. Mukeshwari Sahu, III K Dhaneshwari Sahu, all residents of village Khilora, first prince Raju Sahu Bemetra, second Umesh Nishad Bhimbauri and third Parasram village Sarda were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2100, Rs. 1100 and Rs. 500 respectively.

During the tribunal, during the Naxal attack, Shaheed Police Jathedar Vasudev Sahu's wife, Hemlata Sahu's shawl, Shrifal Bhankarkar was honored. Collector Mahadev Kaware said that the second anniversary of the Surgical Strike Day is being celebrated. Two years ago, the brave soldiers of India had entered the enemy's border and demolished the camp there. The Indian Army had a surgical strike today itself. In the district organized different programs with patriotism. Marathon race was organized to increase awareness of national unity, integrity and security. Senior Superintendent of Police, Shri Manhar said that we should always have a sense of patriotism towards our nation. When a neighboring country encroach on India, then we are out of tolerance for the countrymen.

We are celebrating this day for the encouragement of Indian soldiers. On this occasion Municipal Council President Vijay Sinha, Additional Collector Mr. Willing, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Satish Sharma also expressed his views. Little boys did the adventure of judo-karate, martial arts. The guests remembered the heroic martyrs in Jayathamb and they were offered floral tributes.

In the marathon race, students from schools, colleges, NCC and NSS and Scout-guides students and people representatives and all sections of society played their part. For organizing the marathon race, the support of local school-colleges and principals and district sports officers and other departments were taken. On the occasion of the marathon race, the retired officers and staff of the police were specially invited. On 30th September, programs will be organized in the district with the spirit of patriotism, where the citizens of the schools and colleges will be administered the oath of office of citizens. Under these programs, stage cultural programs will also be organized for the promotion of essay competition, poetry and nationality.
