Agriculture Bill 2020 Protest: Congress to sign 20 lakh people in Chhattisgarh

PL Punia said that on September 26, the Congress will oppose the bill in the social media through Speak Up for Former. On October 2, the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Andolan will be organized in all district headquarters.

 

Delhi / Raipur. The Chhattisgarh Congress (Congress) is preparing to get 20 lakh people signed against the Kisan Bill. In addition to this, the Congress will submit a memorandum to the President by signing two crore people across the country. In-charge of Chhattisgarh Congress PL Punia said that the Farm Bill has been passed by the Central Government to benefit the industry houses. He said that neither PM Narendra Modi nor Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar are farmers. They do not know anything about the problems of the farmers.

On the question of misleading farmers by the opposition, PL Punia said that why the central government is not telling the truth to its constituents. The bill is anti-farmer, which is why Harsimrat Kaur, the minister at the center, resigned from the Akali Dal. He informed that a memorandum will be submitted to the President of Chhattisgarh on 29 September against the Kisan Bill.

Congress will run signature campaign
PL Punia says that from October 3, the state will start a signature campaign against the bill. After taking signatures of about 20 lakh people, the list will be given at the Congress headquarters on November 7. Then on 14 November, a memorandum signed by two crore people from all over the country will be given to President Ramnath Kovind. He said that the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh has already softened the labor laws to benefit the business houses. Now the central government has changed the law to benefit the business houses.
Congress's phased movement started

A phased agitation of the Congress has started against the Union Agriculture Bill. On Thursday, Congress leaders across the country held a press conference and informed the MLA about the loss to farmers. While Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took the press conference in Nagpur, Health Minister TS Singhdev held a press conference in Patna and discussed the reason for opposition to the Agricultural Law. In Chhattisgarh, the Congress will run the Speak for Farmer campaign on social media. Along with this, a padayatra will be taken from Rajiv Bhavan to Raj Bhavan and a memorandum will be submitted to the President. There will be a demonstration in all the district headquarters on 10 October. Apart from this, protest will also be lodged through signature campaign.

Chhattisgarh state in-charge PL Punia said that on September 26, the Congress will oppose the bill in the social media through Speak Up for Farmer. On September 29, a memorandum will be handed over to the President while marching from Rajiv Bhavan to Raj Bhavan. Then, on 2 October, the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Andolan will be organized in all district headquarters. The signature campaign will be conducted from October 2 to 31.
