72.51 lakh sanctioned for tree plantation along the river Shivnath

Bemetra June 24, 2019: - Plantation will be done on the life-side of Bemetara district along the Shivnath river. An amount of Rs. 72.51 lakh has been approved for 12 works of river bank plantation. Collector Mahadev Kaware said that this administrative approval has been provided under the protection of land under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA. Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, for the total 12 tree plantation work, for the year 2018-19, by the Forest Officer, in the year 2018-19, the river bank plantation work will be done for 03 years, first year 2018-19, second year 2019-20 and third year 2020-21. Approval has been made, for which implementation agency Forest Officer Durg (Chhattisgarh) has been made. These include Plantation of Gram Panchayat Tuma under Vikaskhand Bemetra, Tuma Part-01, Plantation of Purana Part-01 of Village Panchayat, Islapur, Plantation of Baraia Part-01, Gram Panchayat Baghud, Plantation of Gram Panchayat Abhianga, Part-01 and Bahinga Part -01, Similarly, the Boria Part-2 of Gram Panchayat Baghud, the Karahi Part-II of Gram Panchayat Abhanga, has been sanctioned for 2000-2000 and amounted to 6.51-6.51 lakhs. The Rs. Likewise, the number of proposed plants for 1000-1000 each and the amount of 3.71-3.71 lakhs for each of the village panchayat Tuma's plantation place, Tuma Part-02, Puran Part-02 of Gram Panchayat, Islapur. Similarly, the number of proposed plants for 2000-2000 and amount of 6.51-6.51 lakh rupees for the Plantation of Extraction Part-03 and Bahinga Part-04 for Gram Panchayat Asangaon.
