Lok Sabha Election 2019: Congress announces candidates for 4 seats in Chhattisgarh

Late night Congress declared candidates in Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Raipur and Mahasamund constituencies.

For the Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh, the Congress has declared its candidates in four seats. Prior to this, the Congress had declared candidates in the first list of five out of 11 seats in the state. Considering the BJP's strategy, after the brainstorming, the Congress has prepared its list.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Raipur late Friday evening by joining the Central Election Committee meeting. In discussions with the media, he said that the names have been fixed on the seats and names will be announced at any time. Late night Congress declared candidates in Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Raipur and Mahasamund constituencies.

Polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections will be on April 11, while on May 23 counting of votes will be counted. Voting of the first phase April 11, voting for the second phase, April 18, third phase voting April 23, fourth phase voting 29 April, fifth phase voting May 6, sixth phase May 12 and seventh and final phase will be held on May 19 .
