Divyang Craftsman presents his wooden artwork with state anthem carved on it to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel

Chief Minister sanctions Rs one lakh as financial aid from discretionery funds to the craftsman

Divyang Craftsman from Bemetara Mr. Dilharan Sinha and his wife Mrs Kalindri Sinha paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today at his residence office. On the occasion, he presented his artwork (state anthem carved on wood) to Chief Minister. On this wooden artwork, Mr. Diharan Sinha has also carved the signature of Dr. Narendra Dev Verma, the composer&lyricist of Chhattisgarh’s state song. Appreciating the fine craftsmanship, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel sanctioned an amount of Rs one lakh from discretionery funds to promote wooden art.
    Mr. Sinha told Chief Minister that he is physically-disable and wood craft is his only means of livelihood. He told that he has carved the national anthem of India, the state song and the preamble of the constitution on the wood. Mr. Sinha told that his wife Mrs. Kalindri helps him in making the artifacts. He also expressed his desire to pass on his skills to the younger generation and other disable people. He said that he can contribute in promoting the wooden art and craft, with the help of government.
