Mr. Baghel releases ‘Sant Kabir Ka Chhattisgarh’

 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that the glory of Sant Kabir pervades every particle of Chhattisgarh. Sant Kabir was a poet of love, social equality and humanity, he was also a social reformer. People from every caste, every religion are his followers. He said that Sant Kabir had come 650 years ago, but his messages are relevant even today. 
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was addressing a virtual program organized on Sant Kabir Jayanti at his residence office here today. In this program, he named the gate of the administrative building of Kushabhau Thakre Journalism and Mass Communication University, Raipur after Sant Kabir and laid the foundation stone of 'Sant Kabir Dwar'. He also released the book "Sant Kabir Ka Chhattisgarh" in this program organized by Kabir Vikas Sanchar Adhyayan Kendra. The editors of this book are Mr. Kunal Shukla and Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Chairman, Kabir Vikas Sanchar Studies Center. Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Girish Devangan were also present on this occasion. At the beginning of the program, guests including Chief Minister Mr. Baghel garlanded the picture of Sant Kabir Saheb and paid him tribute.


Chief Minister said in his address that the blessed meeting of Sant Kabir and Guru Nanak Dev ji took place at Kabir Chabutra in Amarkantak. Although Kabir sahib never visited Chhattisgarh but his teaching has reached every village of Chhattisgarh. Teachings of Sant Kabir and Guru Ghasidas have had great impact on people of Chhattisgarh, this is the reason why people here are honest, satisfied, credible, peaceful and spiritual. 


He said that many saints had incarnated on the land of Chhattisgarh and India, whether they spoke of Buddha, Mahavir or Shankaracharya, Vallabhacharya, Guru Nanak Dev, Sant Kabir or Guru Baba Ghasidas, these great men answered the questions of their time. While conveying best wishes to all the followers of Kabir Panth on Kabir Jayanti, Chief Minister called upon all the people to cooperate in the rebuilding of Chhattisgarh by following the path shown by Saint Kabir.


Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu and Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey also addressed the programme on the occasion. The program was conducted by Mr. Kunal Shukla, Chairman, Kabir Vikas Sanchar Studies Center. On this occasion Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Mr. Ashish Dubey, Mr. Raju Singh Chandel, Preeti Upadhyay, Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Mr. Anand Shankar Bahadur were also present.
