Chief Minister unveils development works worth nearly Rs 332 crore for the newly-constituted Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district

Chief Minister attends the inaugural and foundation laying programme via video conferencing

Foundation laying of various construction works including Joint District Office Building, Tehsil Office Building Marwahi Model Record Room, six small irrigation schemes, three electricity substation, transformers in 50 villages and 21 road construction works done

Two over-bridges, 10 aanganbadi centers and other development works inaugurated

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated and laid foundation of nearly 208 development works worth nearly Rs 332.64 crore for newly-constituted district Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, via video conferencing. This included inauguration of 29 works worth Rs 84 crore 10 lakh and foundation laying of 179 works worth Rs 248 crore 54 lakh. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant presided over the programme.

In this programme held at Sadhu Hall of Gaurela in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, In-charge Minister and Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal joined as special guest of the occasion. Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Health Minister Mr. TS Singhdeo, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendiya, Urban Administration Dr Shivkumar Daharia, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, MP Mrs. Jyotsana Charandas Mahant also attended the progarmme.

    Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated 29 works worth more than Rs 84 crore in the newly formed district Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi. These include railway overbridge constructed at a cost of Rs 76 crore 81 lakh, high-level bridge constructed on Son River on Kanchandih-Bariumaran road at a cost of Rs 2 crore 12 lakh, aanganbadi buildings constructed at Village Bagra, Belgahna Gorakhpur, Puta, Patel Para, Pandripani, Jora Dongri at the cost of 45 lakh 15 thousand, culverts and approach roads in villages Tendumuda, Andhiarkhoh, Pandaripani, Navatola, Karsinwa, Nagwahi, Latakenhird, Silpahri, etc. constructed at a cost of more than 60 lakh rupees, aanganbadi buildings constructed in Village Nagwahi, Latkonikhurd, Korkotola, Silphari at a cost of Rs 19 lakh 35 thousand, Paddy platform built in village Medhuka worth Rs 6 lakh, Muktidham worth Rs 5 lakh built in Marwahi, boundary walls constructed at the cost of Rs 86.68 lakh in government horticulture in Lalpur, Bio-Diversity Resource Park built at the cost of Rs 2 crore in Gorela, renovation of Van Chetna Kendra in Dharampani at the cost of Rs 73 lakh, installation of X-ray machines at District Hospital and Marwahi Community Health Center worth Rs 17 lakh 66 thousand.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel did bhumipujan of Rs 179 works worth Rs 248 crore 78 lakh in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. This includes the newly-sanctioned works such as Rajadih Water reservoir construction worth Rs 12 crore 22 lakh, cement concrete lining work worth Rs 18 crore for canals of Ghaghra Upar Khujji, Gangapur and Chaurasiya water reservoir, three bridge construction works on Son River worth Rs 15 crore, joint district office buiding worth Rs 24.94 crore, nine works of road widening and repairing worth Rs 143 crore 78 lakh, 12 works of road concretization worth Rs 8 crore 40 lakh, 20 works under Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojana worth Rs one crore 52 lakh, three new power substations in Amadand, Dubitiyasevra, Adhiyarkhah and various other works.
