Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the National Trade and Industry Fair 'Opportunity' today. The Opportunity Fair, held at the capital's BTI Ground, will run till 10 February. This four-day fair is organized by the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries. On the occasion, the program was chaired by Industries Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel described the occasion of the occasion as an exemplary effort to provide a platform from cottage industries to big industries in the state. He said that a better environment has been created in Chhattisgarh for the industries to flourish. A new industrial policy has also been formulated by the government. It has provided considerable flexibility to industries and traders to take their business forward.He further informed that new decisions are being taken for the advancement of every section of the people in the state and by implementing them, full benefits are being provided to the people to advance. As a result, public confidence in the government has increased in people from every area from rural to urban area.

Industries Minister Shri Lakhma said that all types of facilities are being provided by our government in the state to further the business of industries. The intention of the government is that traders should not face any problem in pursuing their business. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel visited the stall on the inauguration.

He also visited a bottle crusher machine costing Rs five lakh from Reliance Industries by the Chamber of Commerce and Industries in a stall there. Chamber officials said that this machine is very useful for hygiene.
Not only national but international level companies are participating in the expo. The stall has been set up by Israel Chemical Limited to upgrade agriculture and double the productivity of farmers.
In the field of health and fitness, rest well health care equipment from Nepal, besides stalls have been set up at national level companies by Uttarakhand Handicraft Handloom, Spices and Sewing Machine Company from Pune, Maharashtra etc.
