Agustawestland Case: Susan Mohan Gupta sent to judicial custody till April 20

New Delhi, ANI Susan Mohan Gupta, arrested middleman arrested in money laundering case related to AgustaWestland helicopter scam, has been sent to the special CBI court till April 20 in judicial custody. He was brought directly to the court from Tihar Jail. Explain that Susan has filed a petition in the Patiala House Court for bail. On this petition, the court has sought the response from the ED. The next hearing of the case will be on April 9.

Explain that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested middlemen Mr.Sushin Mohan Gupta (44) from Delhi in the Rs.3,600-crore Agusta Westland VVIP helicopter deal case. Advocate Gautam Khaitan and British middleman Christian Mitchell have already been arrested in this case.

ED officials had said that in the interrogation of Rajiv Saxena, who was recently extradited from United Arab Emirates (UAE), Susheen Mohan Gupta was involved in the case. Rajiv Saxena has become a government witness in this matter. In the inquiry, he told that a company named 'Interstellar Technologies' was given a bribe by AgustaWestland.

ED alleged that Susan had transferred the amount of bribe to the accounts of 'Interstellar Technologies' by the companies located in different countries through the collusion of Khaitan. The investigating agency claimed that Rajiv Saxena has provided two diaries, a few pages, other documents and a pen drive, according to him, according to Succain Mohan Gupta.
