How he purchased multigrain thresher and JCB
The Chief Minister suggested him to busy something for wife as well
Korea : During the Bhent Mulaqat programme in village Katkona, a farmer Kalyan Singh hailing from village Nevri narrated his success story to the Chief Minister. He said that he owns 50 Acres of land, this year he has sold 487 Quintal of paddy at support price which earned him Rs. 9 Lakh 50 thousand. Moreover, he has also obtained Rs. 1 Lakh 88 Thousand through the Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Scheme. He had decided to buy a multigrain thresher with this money and has bought the machine. Additionally, he has also fulfilled his dream to buy a JCB machine with the help of the money obtained from the Nyay Scheme and the support price. He has also secured an admission for his daughter in an Engineering College in Raipur. The farmer Kalyan Singh said that the schemes implemented by the Chief Minister for the benefit of the farmers are encouraging farmers like us. Now, we are advancing to business and trading from farming and are discovering extra sources of income. He congratulated and thanked the Chief Minister for implementing good schemes for farmers.
The Chief Minister said – “Buy something for your wife with this earning.”
To which the farmer smiled and replied – “Sure, Sir.”
