Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh gave away the water to 32 villages: Kosarteda Rural Group Water Supply Scheme

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh gave more than 62 thousand 500 population of 32 villages of Bastar and Barkavand Vikas block in Bastar district for the development of pure drinking water. On the second day of the first phase of the Chief Minister Vikas Yatra, on 13th May, from Vikas Chari, reached Bhanpuri in Bastar Development Zone and joined the reception there. He inaugurated four water supply schemes worth Rs. 50 crores 96 lacs in the same ceremony.
These include Kosartada Rural Group Water Planning, Chhindgaon Tap Water Scheme, Large Ambal Naljal Scheme and Pahurbel Naljal Yojna. The function was attended by Revenue Minister Mr. Prem Prakash Pandey, Public Health Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Bastar Lok Sabha MP Mr. Dinesh Kashyap and other local public representatives.

Rs. 49 crores 76 lacs have been incurred in Kosarteda Rural Group Water Supply Scheme. With this scheme, more than 57 thousand 500 population of 29 villages of Bastar Development block from Kosarteda Irrigation Reservoir is getting drinking water and drainage facility. From the scheme Khadka, Jamgon, Bakel, Basoli, Deora, Sonarpal, Seoni, Vatapuri,
Bhanpuri, Tarangon, Manjula, Karandola, Bodnpal, Tappura, Pallibhatha, Kesharpal, Naharni Murakuchi, Kumli, Phaphani, Pipalwand, Sailavand, Mauliguda, Salameta, Churwand, one-two Khanderaa, Sorgaon, Nandpura and Banyagaon are concerned about drinking water and drainage Has got freedom. Water is being supplied by laying pipeline in these villages
A high level water tank has been built in 16 of these villages. A water purification plant has been established near Kosrartada reservoir. This is where the Sampel Less Pump House has been built. 238 kilometer pipeline has been laid for supplying water to all the villages. Three RAW water pumps and three clean water pumps have been planted. Eight quarters have also been created for the employees engaged in the scheme. Transformer of 100 KV has been installed separately for this scheme.
With more than 17 hundred population of Chhindgaon getting clean water from the Chhindgaon tap water scheme (Development block Barkavand). 42 lakh 82 thousand rupees have been spent in this scheme. The construction of large Ambalal water scheme has been done from 39 lakh 37 thousand rupees. More than 16 hundred people are benefitting from this. Faucet water scheme has been constructed at the cost of Rs. 38 lakhs in Paborurbale village. Water is being given to the population of 15 hundred people of Pahurbel to drink and salvage.
