The Muslim Institute of Kerala banned the burqa - Press Review

Kerala's influential Muslim Educational Society (MEC) banned Burqa on Thursday.

According to the MEC, she has prohibited the girl students from wearing such clothes because of which the face is covered.

This is on the first page of the Times of India. MEC is one of India's largest groups, under which 150 institutions come.

According to the news, MES has said that it has imposed these restrictions under the order of the previous year's High Court.

One day earlier an article in Shiv Sena's mouthpiece affair also demanded a ban on burqa in India like Sri Lanka. However, later the party had separated itself from it.
