Prosperity and increased income for everyone is the State government's aim:Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

 Chief Minister met the general public in Mukta, took feedback on the implementation of government schemes


 Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today reached the Mukta village of Malkharoda block in Sakti district under the Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan and interacted directly with the villagers and inquired about the implementation of the welfare schemes of the state government.

On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister announced for the ground leveling and murum filling works for the Gothan of  Mukta village, he also announced the following; construction of CC road from Mukta to Malkharoda, construction of the community building, beautification of Khanti pond of  Jamgahan village,construction of compound and shed in Muktidham in the village of Mukta, embankment (wall) in Mudatalab, main road in Gram Panchayat Malkharoda and road construction from Naharpar to Chikhali, Chhotekot, Belhadih via Sighra, NRLM dome construction for the training of women in Gram Panchayat of Singhra . Upgradation of Pre-Secondary School in Village, Sarasdol into High School and Upgradation of High School of Jamgahan village and Sulauni into Higher Secondary School, construction of New High School in  Mukta village, City of Ashtabhuji Devi in the ​​Nagar Panchayat of Adbhar to be made as a tourist destination. He also announced the construction of a compound in youth training center at Malkharoda, and the construction of bridge in Kharri village.

Chief Minister Shri Baghel,while addressing the people present in the Bhent Mulaqat said that "the main objective of the State Government is to increase the income of the people and to work towards attaining prosperity for all. Under the short-term agricultural loan waiver scheme, farmers have been given relief from debt and under the Half Electricity Bill scheme, people have been saved from from huge electricity bills. Along with the purchase of paddy in support price, farmers have been provided a fair price for their produce through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Prosperity has reached the farmers by getting the right price for their produce. The number of farmers, area under cultivation and production of paddy has also increased in the state and number of farmers has increased to about 26 lakhs. The set target is to procure one crore 10 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in this Kharif year,the area under agriculture has also gone up to 30 lakh hectares as Farmer-friendly schemes have increased the interest of people towards farming."

Chief Minister Shri Baghel further said that today, a financial assistance of 7 thousand is being given annually to the landless laborers. 65 types of minor forest produce are being procured in the state. Employment is being generated and people's incomes have also increased. He also said that numerous posts of teachers, police, nurses etc, have been recruited in the state. Employment opportunities have also increased along with promotion and marketing of local products by setting up Rural Industrial Park in identified Gauthans in all the  blocks. Along with promoting the culture of Chhattisgarh through Rajiv Mitan Club, information about local sports, government schemes is also being given to the people.

 While inquiring from the general public about the implementation of government scheme, Mr. Gajanand Gabel, a farmer of the Mukta village informed that his agricultural loan of Rs. 2.5 lakh has been waived off and  he has sold paddy in support price which has earned him substantial income. He has 20 acres of agricultural land, he further informed that from the income earned from paddy cultivation and through the financial assistance of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojna,  he has bought an additional land of two and a half acres along with buying some goods for his wife.. Another  farmer namely Bhagat Ram Chandra, resident of the  Chikhali village told the Chief Minister that his agricultural loan of more than Rs 1.15 lakhs has been waived and he has also sold paddy produced in his 3 acres of land and with the income, he has bought a saree for his wife and has also dug a bore near his farmland for irrigation. Pooja Khare of  Jagmahan village told that due to the creation of her poverty line ration card, her son has been admitted in Swami Atmanand Government English School and they also recieve 35 kg of rice, sugar, salt regularly.

Farmer Sanjay Kumar Gabel of  Bundeli village has registered himself for selling cow dung and has sold 635 quintals 35 kg of cow dung so far from which he has earned an income of Rs 1 lakh 26 thousand 670 Rs.  Cattle herder Sanjay Kumar informed that he makes manure from earthworm  and manure worth 40 thousand Rs has been sold by him till date.  Similarly, 63 thousand rupees have been earned from selling Napier grass. Under the Crop Change Program, the Horticulture Department  is cooperating with farmers and helping them in planting crops like mango, papaya, banana,etc. Hemlata Lahre of  Kirari village told the Chief Minister that her group is associated with Gothan since 3 years and has earned 60 thousand rupees by selling 167 quintals of vermi compost. Hemlata also informed that with her earnings she has bought an anklet for herself. Manharan Lal of, a resident of Sonadula informed the Chief Minister about getting the third installment of 2 thousand Rs. on October 17 under Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiheen krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. Golu Bareth of Baradwar informed about the quality healthcare facilities and treatment of the people of the village being provided through Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojna.

Sandeep Khunte and Yukti Mahilang, students of Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya, Malkharoda thanked the Chief Minister for providing better educational infrastructure in a very low fees through Swami Atmanand Vidyalay which is equipped with modern labs and library facilities. Santosh Mahant, a member of  Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club informed the rising interest of people in local sports through the Chhattisgarhia Olympics which is conducting local sports like Fugdi, Gilli Danda, Bhaura, Billas, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho etc.
