Government College Mopka-Nipania now bears the name of Late Ramnath Verma, as per an order issued by the Department of Education.

  Implementation of the Chief Minister's announcement has created a wave of joy in the region.


According to an announcement from the chief minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Government New College Mopka-Nipania in the Balodabazar-Bhatapara district has been renamed as Late Ramnath Verma Government College Mopka-Nipania. A directive in this regard has been released by the Higher Education Department of the Chhattisgarh government.
 
It is worth noting that the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, announced the naming of Government New College after the late Ramnath Verma, a Bhatapara area social worker. Late Ramnath Verma was always concerned with social welfare. He started functioning a primary school in his residence without any assistance from the government. He sowed the seed of education, which has grown into a college today. This college was established in 2018-19. The naming of the college after the late Ramnath Verma has caused a wave of pleasure throughout the region.
 
People's representatives and citizens in the area say that by calling Government New College Mopka-Nipania after the late social worker  Late Ramnath Verma, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid true tribute to him. With a futuristic vision, the late Mr. Ramnath Verma donated approximately 6 acres of land for the expansion of the primary school. In the region, he accomplished an outstanding job of uniting people via social and religious activities, as well as increasing social collaboration and mutual brotherhood. As a result of his efforts, the Gram Sabha and Gram Panchayat overwhelmingly accepted the naming of the government's new college after him.
